Write a Best Selling E-book in 1 Month
There are at least two approaches when you want to write a best selling e-book in 1 month. One is to be the reporter and the other is to be the expert. Now if you know a lot about your topic, say “saving money on weddings”, then, by all means start writing that e-book right now.
Acting as a reporter can help you tackle your e-book project. Reporters are not experts, but they are expert at finding information. As a reporter, you must first find experts who can help you write an e-book on, for example, Top Ten Money-Saving Wedding Tips.
Once you have identified experts, you can interview them to add valuable information to your book. Perhaps you could interview florists for information on bouquets. A tip – many experts are willing to share their knowledge, especially if you include their contact information in your e-book as a thank you. This is valuable free advertising for your florists, wedding planners, pastors, and more.
Dont just interview your florist. Look for other contacts, other vendors who could help you. Wedding planners know how to get the right look for less; pastors can offer tips to couples who want to write their own vows. Collect information, and offer something meaty for your clients to read!
When performing interviews, it is a good idea to record the interview with CD-quality sound. These recordings can later be converted to other file formats, like MP3 or .wav files. I preferred to use a lapel mic and an Olympus DM10.
For an interview, bring two lapel mics and a Y-jack (I found mine at Wal-Mart).I use this setup to interview many people, even over the phone. It offers great quality sound at a reasonable price.
So, what is the point of all these recordings?
Those recordings can give you valuable information for your e-book. Transcribe the interview, or hire someone to transcribe it for you. These recordings can also be used as a bonus to encourage sales of your e-book.
Recordings can help you write your e-book in 1 month. After all, most of your information is based on interviews. Your book almost writes itself!
